CPU TROUBLESHOOTING INSTRUCTIONS

REPORTED ISSUE: CPU IS IN RUN MODE WITH NO ERROR LEDS (YELLOW OR RED) ON THE SPU

THIS IS USUALLY INDICATIVE THAT THE CPU PROCESSOR HAS NO VALID PROGRAM LOADED INTO IT
QUICK RESOLUTION: TRANSFER A VALID HOLTEC PROVIDED PRE-LOADED PROGRAM CODE FROM A HOLTEC PROVIDED MEMORY CARD TO THE CPU

IMPORTANT!
During program transfer, the yellow MC LED on the CPU must light up briefly. If it does not light up, the issue may be that the program was not properly transferred from the memory card to the CPU processor or the original program on the memory card was corrupted

RECOMMENDED STEPS IN ORDER:
ATTEMPT OR REATTEMPT A PROGRAM TRANSFER USING YOUR ORIGINAL MEMORY CARD FIRST
INSERT YOUR ORIGINAL MEMORY CARD INTO THE CPU AND POWER IT ON
VERIFY THAT THE PROGRAM TRANSFER OCCURS BY WATCHING FOR THE MC LED TO FLASH ONCE BRIEFLY
IF THE MC LED DOESN'T FLASH (SEE PHOTO) THEN THE PROGRAM TRANSFER DIDN'T COMPLETE SUCCESSFULLY AND THAT COULD BE A RESULT OF A PROGRAM CORRUPTION ON THE MEMORY CARD

IF THE PROGRAM TRANSFER DIDN'T COMPLETE SUCCESSFULLY, TRANSFER THE CORE PROGRAM FILE (s7prog.wld)
TO A HOLTEC PROVIDED VIPA MEMORY CARD
DO NOT USE GENERIC MEMORY CARDS FOR THIS PURPOSE
RE-ATTEMPT THE TRANSFER TO THE CPU ONCE THE PROVIDED FILE HAS BEEN TRANSFERRED TO THE VIPA CARD
